Shirley brings over 20 years of experience in commercial, editorial, and non-profit media production to her role as Creative Director of CTR. She is recognized for her visionary approach to media production with a keen eye for purpose-driven projects. At CTR, Shirley has found the platform to combine her joy for storytelling, her attention to detail and imagery, her background in marketing, and her history in community organizing and education to create media that creates an impact.
Also an accomplished photographer, her work has been featured in various galleries and prominent publications, including Latina, Crain, Siempre Mujer, El Diario, Metro, Hispanic, The NY Times Online, Urban Latino, & Vibe. Her work has also been featured in campaigns for brands like Olay, CoverGirl, Pantene, and Fruit of the Loom.

Julián emerges as a highly skilled and technically proficient producer, excelling not only in producing but also in adept video editing and accomplished motion photography. His prior role as the owner and Executive Producer of Barrio Media, a community-centric video production company in El Barrio / East Harlem, underscores his mastery of all technical aspects of production. With a notable portfolio, Julián has successfully executed filming and editing projects for esteemed non-profits, including Harlem RBI, the East Harlem Business Capital Corporation, Boys and Girls Harbor, and El Museo Del Barrio.
In addition to his extensive production experience, Julián has served as a dedicated media educator, guiding students whose work has been celebrated at various film festivals. This dual expertise showcases his commitment not only to high-quality production but also to nurturing the next generation of storytellers and filmmakers.
